Interested in a support group that meets on the Southside of Atlanta in Forest Park? Julia Munger is hoping to establish one, if there is enough interest. This support group will be for parents of children with special needs of any age. A small group of parents will be getting together to share ideas about everyday topics that affect the lives of families raising children with disabilities or special health care needs. This will be an opportunity to get to know other parents while sharing experiences and gaining information about available resources that may help your child and family. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Julia Munger at 770-703-7453. Julia will be hosting the meetings. She is willing to have day and/or evening meetings, so please call her to tell her what times and days you prefer. The group has met on one occasion and we are trying to sort out a time when everyone is available to meet. Space is limited, so please contact Julia if you are interested in attending or would like to find out more about the group.
