Budget Process
(Department of Human Resources)

1. Field forwards local budget submissions.

2. Division prepares budget with priorities.

3. Department combines budgets and prepares Department Budget with Departmental Priorities.

4. Department of Human Resources Board for approval.

5.  Governor's office prepares complete state budget.

6. House of Representatives holds hearings and prepares House budget.

7. Senate holds hearings and prepares Senate budget.

8. Legislative Conference Committee resolves differences between House and Senate budgets.

9. House and Senate vote.
