SB 10 - Georgia Special Needs Scholarship  
This is the new bill that would allow families to receive school vouchers if the child is currently in the public school system, has a diagnosis and an IEP.  For more information.

IDEA (The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)

The primary law governing the education of children with disabilities is the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (known as IDEA.)

Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973

Section 504 was the first federal civil rights law to protect the rights of people with disabilities. It is similar to the other civil rights legislation applying to discrimination on the basis of race and sex.
