Childcare

Childcare is the ongoing day-to-day care of a child when the parents are working or otherwise in need of consistent care for their children. Finding quality childcare that fits the needs of families is often challenging, but it is even more difficult when a child has a chronic medical condition or disability. There are agencies and organizations that provide support to families on how to find a suitable childcare provider and support for childcare providers who include children with disabilities and chronic medical conditions.

HIGHLIGHTS

If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.

If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
