An inclusive child care program is one that includes children with special needs into daily activities in their natural environments. Throughout the state of Georgia, there are Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, which employ Inclusion Coordinators who are committed to providing high quality, inclusive child care for all children. In addition, the Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies each have a Lending Library on site, which is geared towards children with special needs and the people who support them. Child Care providers, parents and other agencies can check out items from these libraries. Items include: books, videos, curriculum kits, adaptive toys and equipment, highchairs, cribs, riding toys and more.
