One-on-One Parent Support?

The one to one emotional support of another parent that has “been there” or is “still there” is one of the most valuable kinds of support a parent can have. Knowing there are other families raising a child with the same or similar special needs can mean so much to parents and other caregivers.

For information about getting in touch with a Supporting Parent, please contact:

Parent to Parent of Georgia
  - matches parents and family members with a Supporting Parent based on disability, health care needs, or other special concerns. Call 1-800-229-2038 or request a match online.

Mothers United for Moral Support (MUMS) - is a national matching network. Call 1-877-336-533 or visit the MUMS website at www.netnet.net/mums/
