Anytime your faith community begins work to include individuals with
disabilities and their families, it is important to include the
following people in the conversation! These appear in no particular
order:
* Leader of the faith community
* Staff secretary - especially the one who
answers the phone in the front
office
* Staff person in charge of
Operations/Maintenance (the one who actually
does the work)
* Person in charge of Music
* Person in charge of Religious Education
* Person in charge of Ushers (Hospitality
Ministry)
* Person in charge of putting out the weekly
bulletin/program
* Spouse of the leader of the faith
community
* Person in charge of faith community
finances/accounting
* Chairperson of the lay governing board
